"2 Monitors dead at 3.5 years"
I purchased 2 32" viewsonics over a few months back in the middle of 2019, a VX3209-2K and a VX3276-2K.

Both have died, one completely, green led on but no display whatsoever, the other is dead but upon testing it powered up, added a raspberry pi and it had a display for about 30 seconds and then blanks out.

I still have 4 monitors of other brands that are older and still work great. So this is my last viewsonic experience, wont be buying them again despite the tempting low prices, not worth it.

"Great customer service"
Bought a projector 8 months ago and it started shutting off out of nowhere, when I contacted virwsonic with the issue they promptly sent somebody to collect it to bring it to their workshop. They couldn't find the fault, but when the issue persisted when I recieved the projector back, they promptly send out a replacement. I exchanged the faulty one for the new one.

Really kind and stright forward customer service and did the right thing

"Bought a ViewSonic PX701HD Projector…"
17/10/22 Update on my ViewSonic Projector:
I think ViewSonic must have gone bust as they still do not answer telephone calls or emails be aware not to buy anything from them as the warranty on their products is no good. The retailer will not accept any responsibility as it is over 30 days old. Do not buy any products from D G Mitchell in London as they are useless if the product is from ViewSonic. I am now £422 out of pocket

ViewSonicBought a ViewSonic PX701HD Projector from DG Mitchell Ltd in January this year. It worked fine for our small society meetings once a month. October meetings it would not show the picture properly and after fiddling with the colour balance we almost got a decent picture. Contacted DG Mitchell Ltd who referred me to Equinox for repair, they said I had to go through ViewSonic for authorisation. Cannot get through to them by telephone. Most of the time I am in a queue of 1 and permanently on hold no matter what time or day I ring, other times it is just a dead line. No reply to emails. Tried going back to both Equinox and DG Mitchell Ltd but both are not interested in helping. I would suggest that you do not buy from any of these companies if you want good service

"3 times broken!!!"
3 times, that’s the amount of times my projector broke since I bought it 6 months ago. Instead of offering a replacement, this ridiculous customer service team insists they only do repair, leaving me half of the time without a projector. I’m so angry.

"Colour management software issues"
I bought 4 of these monitors a year ago, I bought them as different monitors can display different colours. Working on Graphic design, I need to see the same colour across all screens. I updated to windows 11, I updated to the recommended Viewsonic driver for windows 11, as soon as I did this when working in any of the Adobe family, or the Affinity Photo, Publisher or Designer family, whites turned yellow. The support from the seller, The UK support agency and the manufacturer was dismal and considering this is why they are in business you would have thought they could fix it, all they do is blame Adobe and Affinty for a problem that is theirs

"Just moronic design update"
Just moronic design update. They supply with a UK plug you have to fit yourself, which has not been a problem in the past. I'm a business customer who regularly buys a variety of signage screens from Viewsonic. I have just bought their new model EP5542 55” All-In-One Free-Standing LED ePoster / Totem - Cost has gone up £106 - It is almost impossible to fit the supplied UK plug. They obviously are aware of the problem as they stick a cheap converter plug to the outside of the box! These converters are terrible. Loose fitting, and make the plug stick a long way out of the wall socket. Viewsonic should be embarassed about this...

"It Has lifespan of a mosquito"
It Has lifespan of a mosquito!
I bought this monitor because it seemed reasonably prices, turns out there is a reason. After only a few months it start flickering, I tried changing the power cable, Hdmi and everything I could think of but no, its the monitor and it just kept getting worse and worse to the point I had to use my old monitor.
Don’t do this to yourself. Pay a-bit more and buy a decent product.

"Beautifully crafted monitor!"
Just purchased a UX series 27 inch monitor and must I say that I am beyond pleased~~ It comes with two speakers at the back though somewhat small at 2W each, the monitor is bright and crisp! Almost similar to my experience with Dell monitor, but for probably half the price? Will definitely look into more of their products in future :D

"--- Review of ViewSonic M2 projector…"
With working from home being likely for the next few years, I wanted to replace my two 24" monitors with two portable projectors. The idea was to save desk space, to make it easier to work from hotels/AirBnBs (without having to carry around 2 big monitors), and to have a half decent projector to watch movies for entertainment. After discussion with Pre-Sales staff at ViewSonic and JustProjectors, they assured me the M2 would be suitable. Unfortunately, this projector fails for several reasons, and so I have returned them.

The first problem is that the M2 has a 125ms delay. This means that when you move the mouse pointer across the screen, on the projector image it lags behind quite noticibly by 3 or 4 inches. This makes it particularly hard to position the mouse pointer precisely onto things you want to select or click. For example, when trying to position the pointer onto folders (the plus + sign) to expland/collapse in Windows Explorer, you have to constantly wait for the mouse to catch up. As part of my normal work, I am constantly moving the mouse and selecting things, so this is a major disruption to my normal flow of working. This alone is a deal-breaker. The 125ms delay of course is noticable when switching between applications and loading up pages - quite disconcerting. I am annoyed that the Pre-sales support people at neither ViewSonic nor JustProjectors advised me about this (I had explained to them exactly what I intended to use the M2s for). This was not a fault with the units - the same occurred with both, and Support could not suggest any setting or configuration that might resolve it.

Another significant issue is the constand noise the M2 makes. While this is indeed one of the queitest projectors around (I think under 30dB), when you are working in a quiet room, the M2 sounds like the constanst whirring of an old-fashioned noisy physical disk drive. To have this noise constantly there for 8 hours would be too much of a distraction. This issue alone is a deal-breaker for me.

A third major problem is that when using the M2 to watch a movie, the M2 could not keep up with the frame rate of the DVD. In any scenes where there is movement faster than someone walking, the image quite noticably jumps and skips frames. After 15 minutes of watching, this jumpyness started to make me feel a bit dizzy. I simply could not watch an entire movie on this projector. For any action movies with fast scenes - forget it. This is a real shame because the M2 produces quite rich and full colours, and with very good brightness. Unfortunately, any projector that cannot handle a standard DVD (not even a blu-ray) is a deal-breaker for me. This was not a fault with the units - the same occurred with both, and Support could not suggest any setting or configuration that might resolve it.

There were also some minor issues that are not deal-breakers, but worth knowing about.

The projector does not have a fully automatic keystone correction. This means that you need to set the "4 corner" correction manually each time you move the projector by an inch or two. With me needing to set up in a different location every few days, this would become tedious.

The projector has a quite noticable background/residual illumination, even when displaying no image or in movie scenes that are dark. While one may learn to ignore this after a while, I was disappointed that it was so much worse than my 15-year old Sanyo PLV-Z3000.

The projector has no zoom control. To make the image the desired size, you must position the projector at the correct distance from the surface. Make sure you calculate where you intend to place the projector before you buy. You can actually change the image size by a small amount (about +/-10%) by using the 4 corner keystone adjustment, but not by much. For my situation, the M2s were positioned at 75cm from the wall yeilding an image of 24", which is a good size/distance combination - the M2s were positioned to the left and right of my keyboard on the desk.

The projector has no buttons - you must use the remote control for everything. If you lose or misplace the remote, you will be very limited. To be fair, I believe you can connect the projector via WiFi/bluetooth to a smart phone, so perhaps this is good enough for most people.

"Monitor died after just 4 months"
Monitor died after just 4 months. Ebuyer said I had to contact Viewsonic (manufacturer). They just moved me from pillar to post until they won and I chucked the monitor. Purchased a Samsung branded one from Amazon.

Never ever again Viewsonic

"Excellent customer service."
I emailed ViewSonic customer service looking for a stockist of a specific style of stand for an out of production monitor. Whilst the stand is no longer in production, the customer service team were able to track one down and have it shipped to me, for free, within half a day. Incredibly impressed with the level of service, truly above and beyond.
